Every acre of agriculture land will get water for cultivation: CM
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao said that all the irrigation projects are planned in such a way that every acre of agriculture land in the State will get water for cultivation.

For the past two days, the Chief Minister has been personally examining the Kaleswaram project works with team of officials and public representatives travelling by two heli copters. On Friday, the Chief Minister examined works going on Rampur and Potharam pump houses in Malyala mandal in Jagtial district. He inquired in depth about the works with the irrigation officials and representatives of the contract agencies. He held a review at the Pump house with the officials and public representatives. He has instructed Irrigation Minister Sri T Harish Rao and officials that plans for the projects should be done in such way that in Telangana State farmers should no longer look up for the rains to cultivate and every cultivable acre should get water. He has instructed the officials to ensure that farmers should go in for planting in Rabi (Rohini karthe) and finish all the crop related works of the Rabi crops.
The Chief Minister wanted the officials to be ready to fill up all the tanks in districts under the Godavari Basin on a war footing from next June when all the pump sets of the Kaleswaram projects are ready. He also instructed the officials to prepare estimates for the check dams on rivers and canals so that no acre is left without water. He wanted estimates to be prepared for 4 to 5 check dams on Maner River, 2 to 3 on Moola Vagu River. He wanted survey to be done before preparing the estimates on check dams whenever they are necessary.
KCR desired that water should be supplied from Devadula via Warangal district to Tungaturthy, Suryapet, and Kodad. He felt that after agriculture fish culture would become the second highest revenue generating profession.
Ministers Harish Rao and Etela Rajender, MPs Vinod Kumar and Balka Suman, Chief Secretary SP Singh, DGP Mahender Reddy, MLAs Bodige Shobha and K Vidyasagar Rao, CMO Officials Smita Sabharwal, Transco CMD D Prabhakar Rao and Jagtial Collector Sharath were also present.
Indebted to the electricity departments
When the Chief Minister suggested that water should be given to the farmers to ensure the agriculture operations of Rabi are to be over before March 20, CMD Prabhakar Rao said it would also be beneficial for the electricity departments if the summer crops were over by then. For this, the CM quipped, "Yes, indeed. Everywhere we need your power,” which evoked peals of laughter. However, the CM said,” Anyway, we are indebted to you.”
Jagtial completed 100% land records purification
Jagtial Collector Sharath told the Chief Minister that in the district land records purification has been completed cent percent. He said in 18 Mandals of the Jagtial district land records rectification was done in 291 Villages. Almost 99.18% litigation free land rectification was done under Part A. He said 4,52,920 mistakes were rectified.
The Chief Minister has unveiled the hand written Pahani having land data, boundaries, and maps of Rampur village in Malyala mandal. He has congratulated Collector Sharath and other revenue officials concerned for successfully completing the land records purification cent per cent.
