Hyderabad: Jana Sena chief and matinee idol Pawn Kalyan will be hitting streets in Telangana from Monday, after coming out of a long sabbatical in public life.

Pawan Kalyan will offer prayers at the Anjaneya Swamy temple in Kondagattu at 3 pm and then will kick off his political yatra. He has chosen Kondagattu near Jagtial since he believes it is the most appropriate place for him to begin his foray into active politics. “It was because of Lord Anjaneya that I escaped from an accident here in 2009. This is the reason why I want to start my expedition from here,” Pawan Kalyan said.

The present exercise is limited to learning from people firsthand the problems they are facing as their representative what he could do to better their lives, Pawan Kalyan said. He would either conduct roadshows or take up padayatra whichever appears appropriate for him on the given day and time. He expressed doubt if he would be able to meet more number of people if he went on foot from one place to another.

According to Jana Sena sources, he will set out for Kondagattu from his office at 9 am. After offering prayers to Anjaneya Swamy, he is expected to announce his future course of action.

Later, he would move on to Karimnagar, where he would meet with Jana Sena leaders.

On January 23, at Shubham Gardens on Jagtial Road, at about 10.45 am, he would have a meeting with party functionaries of erstwhile Karimnagar, Adilabad and Nizamabad districts.

After the meeting he will drive to Kothagudem where he would stay for the night. On January 24, he will lead a procession from Kothagudem and would reach Khammam by about 3 pm. At MB Gardens in the town, he will have a meeting with party workers. After the meeting, he would leave for Hyderabad.
