Young Telanganite bags ‘National Youth Award’

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old city-based young student Jawwad Patel has been awarded ‘National Youth Award’ - excellence in research and innovation from government of India. He is the only one from Telangana State and our country to achieve the national youth award for his creative innovations.  

The award consisted of medal, a certificate and the cash prize were worth Rs 50,000. The award was presented to him by Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in presence of col Rajyavardhan Rathore and Mahesh Sharma, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also join the ceremony via live video call, (the PM was supposed to present award, but he had to attend to Israeli PM arrival) and congratulated him. 

Jawwad Patel recently received ‘International Exemplary Research and Performance Award 2018’ award for excellence in medical research from a Medical Research Authority in Delhi.  

Dr Rajesh Malhotra of AIIMS felicitated him for his three researches in medical field by presenting him certificate and memento. 

It may be mentioned here that Jawwad has invented dewdrop equipment that creates water with the help of moisture in the air which is used for the treatment of cancer patients.  He has a patent of the equipment. The has also developed epidermis machine for breast cancer. 

Also, his non-invasive sugar detection device which can check blood sugar without taking blood sample was also the awarded at the function.    
"My parents feel very proud and honored at the same time and I dint knew that someday my ideas and innovations will come up with such big cause to make the world a better place for everyone", says Jawwad Patel.
