Heatwave conditions prevailed in some parts of Adilabad district for the third day on Tuesday, with highest day temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. The other temperatures registered in the State were: Nizamabad 43, Ramagundam and Medak 42 each, Khammam 41, Bhadrachalam, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda 40 each, Hanamkonda 39 and Hakimpet 38. 

Hyderabad: Heatwave conditions prevailed in some parts of Adilabad district for the third day on Tuesday, with highest day temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. The other temperatures registered in the State were: Nizamabad 43, Ramagundam and Medak 42 each, Khammam 41, Bhadrachalam, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda 40 each, Hanamkonda 39 and Hakimpet 38.

The Met department bulletin said rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana, with Dharpalle in Nizamabad registering 4 cm of rain. There was 2 cm rain each in Sarangapur and Armur and 1 cm each in Jakranpalle, Dichpalle, Kammarpalle, Makloor, Navipet, Balkonda and Adilabad.

According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places from May 23 to 26. The maximum temperatures are likely to be around 42-44 degrees Celsius in many parts of Telangana on May 23. No large change during the period May 27-29 is the weather outlook.
