Postpone SCC Supplementary exams falling on Eid day: TRS MLC

Hyderabad : TRS leader and MLC M.S. Prabhakar Rao on Thursday demanded that the SSC Advance Supplementary Examinations scheduled to be held on June 16 be postponed to some other day in view of Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated on the same day.
In a letter to the Special Chief Secretary of Education Department, Prabhakar originally demanded that the exams scheduled on 14th, 15th and 16th June be rescheduled. Since, there was no clarity on the exact day of Eid-ul-Fitr, the education department went ahead with the exams. With the confirmation from Central Ruyyat Hilal Committee that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, he urged the Education Department to postpone the exams scheduled on June 16.
