‘Projects taken up only for commission’

Kothagudem: Congress leader Renuka Chodhury on criticised Chief Ministr K.Chandrasekar Rao for neglecting farmers in Telangana and not resolving their issues.
Congress party workers on Thursday took out anti-government protest rally in the coal town and staged dharna at the Collector office. The party workers raised slogans against the State government.
Addressing the party workers, Renuka Chowdhury said that the KCR government is working only for commissions in the State. The Mission Bhageeratha, Kakatiya and Kaleswaram projects are taken up for kickbacks only. All the major projects were constructed during the Congress regime. Now, the names are being changed by the TRS government, she alleged.
She also demanded the government to give pattas to the podu tribal farmers immediately and provide the input subsidy under Rythu Bandhu Scheme without any delay.
She questioned KCR where is the Golden Telangana? In the last four years the people faced many problems in the state. The Golden Telangana means development of the KCR family, she said.
