Kothagudem: Singareni Collieries Company has received the Excellence In Performance Award on Friday. The Coal Summit -2018 was conducted by the Mining Geological and Metallurgical Institute of India (MGMI) in New Delhi on Friday. The Institute judged the SCCL best in production of the coal and taking all environment related preventions.
The award was presented by the former secretary of Union Minister of Coal Alokh Pathi, and the president of the MGMI PS Upadhya, Coal India former chairman Narayana to SSCL General Manger Y Rajeswaray Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, the MGMI president PS Upadhya lauded the Singareni Collieries Company Limited services. He said, “the company is supplying coal to many big companies in South India.”
The General Manger Y Rajeswara Reddy, speaking on the occasion, expressed special thanks to the institute for giving the award. He said, “in 129 years Singareni has been achieving the target of production of coal every year. The company won three international awards recently.”
