Rahul peps up TS leaders

Warangal: Warangal District Congress Committee President Naini Rajender Reddy, who was in Delhi to participate in a party meeting, met the All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi on Friday. Rajender Reddy said the party activists were told to work in tandem so that to make an impact in the ensuing elections for Telangana Assembly.
The leaders were also told to gear up to take the failures and anti-people policies of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government to the notice of the public, he said. It is learnt that the leaders were strictly warned to resolve their issues if any with the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy or in-charge Secretary for Telangana affairs R C Khuntia, instead of taking their fight to streets.
“Further Rahul also made it clear that tickets will be given only to those have chance of winning and commitment towards party, keeping an eye on social justice ,” Reddy said. After the meeting, Reddy met Rahul Gandhi.
