Bhadrachalam: The Girijana Darbar held here at Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) on Monday had witnessed heavy public. ITDA Project officer Pamela Sathpathy and all the unit officers attended the Darbar at the meeting hall. The Project Officer had received petitions form the tribals and distributed them to the officials concerned for clearance.

Speaking on the occasion, she asked the unit officers to clear all the petitions immediately, which have been pending in the department. Stating that number of people from various places in the district come to the Darbar in the hope of getting their issues solved, she directed the officials to clear their problems.

The Project Officer reviewed pending issues during the Darbar and told the officials concerned to submit a report about the pending issues of various departments. The officials were also told to visit local Ashram School, anganwadi schools and primary health centres in villages during their field work. They were strictly told to check the quality of the food supplied to the students and health services in the agency.

Through Bhavitha cell, various private companies are being invited to recruit local youth in ITDA vacancies. Several job melas were also conducted last year, she added. ‘We are planning to conduct a mega job mela soon in ITDA limits,’ she added.
