Gachibowli: Many buildings spend huge investment on installing overhead tanks with pumps and pipeline works, but seldom they spend on auto cut system once the tank gets filled up. They brazenly allow the water to flow on the terrace and to the ground and then to the roads.
The overflowing water released on the road from the overhead tank of Aditya hotel besides Gachibowli Police Station is causing inconvenience to the locals and commuters. There are many hostels and PGs beside the hotel and for the past one year the residents have been suffering. On one hand there was a wastage of water and on other the road was getting damaged due to the flow of water.
The residents alleged that the security guard of the hotel was not keeping a regular check on the water pipes there was no proper maintenance by the hotel. As water being released every day and mud pools being formed, the area started stinking. The issue would be resolved only after the hotel properly maintains the water system and diverts the extra water to storage tanks. GHMC authorities must take action on the hotel for wasting water and not constructing proper plumbing system.
