On Thursday, along with SP R Venkteshwarlu, he participated in Konda laxman Bapuji’s 103 birth anniversary celebrations organized by the BC Welfare department in Suryapet. Addressing the gathering after garlanding Bapuji’s statue, the Collector described the Telangana Movement leader as an example of honesty and ethics.
His commitment and values made him the State minister but sacrificed his post for the formation of Telangana State in the interest of the people of this region during first phase of Telangana agitation. SP R Venkteshwarlu praised Konda Laxman Bapuji for his contributions to society and his sacrifices in the interest of people. He appreciated the government for conducting Bapuji Jayanthi officially.
