Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao said the saffron party alone has future in Telangana Vis a Vis Congress, TRS and other parties. Addressing several people joined in the party from Mulugu in Bhupalapalli district here on Saturday, he said no one ever thought that BJP would ever come to power. But, today, the party is in power in 19 States in the country. And, it is BJP which will have a better future than any other party in the State and the country, he added.

Muralidhar Rao said Congress, TRS and other parties cannot grow more than where they are today. "Other parties will have only history and the BJP will have a future. Those joining in the party have taken a correct decision by joining in a party with a future and that stands for all sections of the people in the country."

Taking a dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi, he said it will take another 40 days for the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, about which party has future in Telangana. Terming BJP alone was a party standing on the strength of cadre and leadership, Muralidhar Rao said while Congress has been running dynastic politics in Delhi, the TRS is running the same from the gadi in Telangana, and there is no difference between the two.

"Both the Congress and TRS work for their families, while BJP works for the people," he said. A government which would not work for the people even if voted into the power it would not be a people’s government and democratic government. K Chandrashekar Rao had promised to construct double bedroom houses, distribution of three acres to SCs and creating opportunities for the youth filling up vacancies in the government sector. But, the TRS chief could not deliver any of these and this makes the TRS not a government for the people, he pointed out.
