Nalgonda: In an oblique reference to the cash-for-vote scam that rocked Telangana state in 2015, caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday warned his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, to realise what would happen to him if he chose to open his third eye.

Chandrashekar Rao, continuing his fusillade at Telugu Desam and Congress for their "illegitimate alliance," he cautioned the people against Naidu who was now carrying a dagger in his waist to kill them. "I am sure people of Nalgonda have come of age. They would take a wise decision and help the TRS win all the 12 seats in the erstwhile district of Nalgonda. "Chandrababu Naidu is looking to revive his ‘shop’ in Telangana. We have 119 assembly segments here and you have 175. It seems the situation is not good for you there. If I open my third-eye, think of what would happen to you," said KCR.

The TRS chief also took exception to the comments of Chandrababu Naidu that he was aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Naidu says I have aligned with Modi. For four years, you were with Modi. You snatched seven mandals and Sileru power project from Telangana and delayed division of High Court,” Rao said. He asked people to decide whether they want to take Telangana to Vijayawada.

“You have to decide whether you will go to Amaravati or Hyderabad with your applications,” said Rao. He alleged that if Chandrababu Naidu wins, he would create problems in construction of Kaleshwaram, Dindi and other projects.

The TRS chief once again lashed at the Congress leaders stating that these leaders were like plague on the people of Telangana. All the Congress leaders in Nalgonda district are dimwits and nincompoops. “The PCC president does not know anything. He is a ‘Nadaan Dushman’. When government in Assembly said it was ready for discussion, this leader said his party was not prepared on issues facing the state,” said Rao. He found fault with the boycotting of Assembly when he gave power point presentation on redesigning of irrigation projects.

Recalling an incident when K Jana Reddy had taken up Telangana agitation and wanted his support, Rao said, “I refused to join hands with Jana and told him clearly that he was doing all this for minister's post and not for the cause of Telangana. Within 21 days, Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy (the then Chief minister) invited Jana Reddy and offered him minister's post.”

He said that when undivided Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister allocated Rs 7,000 crore for drinking water to Chittoor, these leaders Jana Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, K Venkata Reddy said that there was nothing wrong in it. The Chief Minister also pointed out that because of the inefficiency of the Congress leaders Nagarjunsagar was constructed 19 km away from earlier proposed place called Yeleshwaram. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao did not utter a word even after severe injustice was done to Telangana and did historical injustice to Telangana, he alleged.

Rao said that as per the latest survey report received on Wednesday, the TRS party is going to win 110 seats and MIM 7 seats out of the 119 seats in Telangana. He said that all the 12 seats in Nalgonda will also be won by TRS as per the survey. He asked people to defeat his party if whatever he said was wrong and also urged them to defeat if they believe what he told was true in the public meeting.

The Chief Minister said that the biggest power project with 4,000 MWs of power production would come up in Damaracharla in Nalgonda. He said that this project would be an iconic project in the district. He lashed out at Congress leaders for filing case in Environmental tribunal questioning the clearance and also on the 196 cases on Kaleshwaram project.
