Hyderabad: As many as 122 complaints have been received on WhatsApp No. 88979-77250 by the GHMC as part of its ‘No open manhole policy’ programme. They were received from Kukatpally zone (33), L B Nagar (26), Charminar (23), Secunderabad (16), Khairatabad (13) and Serilingampally (12).
Consequently, engineers of the civic body are busy covering the manholes in Kondapur, Prashanthnagar, Chandanagar, Moosapet, Fatehnagar. Meanwhile, GHMC commissioner Dana Kishore convened a special meeting on October 6 to discuss the immediate steps to be taken with regard to the policy.
