Bathukamma reflects Telangana tradition:Rammohan Reddy

Parigi: Former MLA Rammohan Reddy on Wednesday said that Bathukamma is the true replica of Telangana tradition. He was speaking at the celebrations held here in his residence where his wife Uma Rammohan Reddy led the festivity.

He flayed TRS for taking entire credit of celebrations in the state. Uma Rammohan Reddy said that they were celebrating Bathukamma even before the TRS party came to power. She criticised that TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao is trying to convert it into Kavithamma (his daughter Kavitha) festival. Gandeed MPP Shantha Rangya Naik, Women’s Congress district president Meghamala, leaders Surekha Reddy, Rajitha Reddy took part.
