Bank managers told to secure details of withdrawals of over 1L
The managers of various banks were asked to secure full details of withdrawals of more than Rs one lakh, in accordance with election code and to obtain reports from their branches with the manager acting as the coordinator and submit the to the Lead Bank Manager The LBM in turn should peruse the reports and forward them to the election officials

Joint Collector B Rajesham told the managers at a review meeting in connection with the ensuing Assembly elections here on Thursday. Rajesham wanted the managers to keep track of the deposits made in the accounts of their customers and also the previous transactions and to obtain details of the source of the money deposited.
He told them to clarify their doubts if any, with the customers and advised them to compulsorily follow the instructions of the election officials. The JC requested the managers to depute 150 bank personnel for election duties. District Revenue Officer Arunasree, Lead Bank Manager Gowtham Lakshminarayana and others attended the meeting.
