As many as 57 twowheelers, two autos and banned gutka packets were seized during cordon and search carried out by the police in the early hours of Tuesday in Nagarjuna Colony and New Nagarjuna Colony under rural police station limits in Mancherial
Mancherial: As many as 57 two-wheelers, two autos and banned gutka packets were seized during cordon and search carried out by the police in the early hours of Tuesday in Nagarjuna Colony and New Nagarjuna Colony under rural police station limits in Mancherial.
Speaking to the reporters, Deputy Commissioner Venugopal Rao said that the motorbikes and three-wheelers were seized as the vehicle owners had failed to produce relevant documents when the operation was going on. The vehicles would be returned to the owners after they submit the documents.
He appealed the people to inform the police if they found persons moving under suspicious circumstances and not to give their vehicles to others. Vehicle users must always keep vehicle papers with them. Mancherial rural inspector Y Krishna Kumar, CCC SI Pramod Reddy and others participated in the search operation.
