Police seize Rs 4.5 lakh during vehicle checking in Kalwakurthy

​Nagarkurnool: During a vehicle checking at Raghavapally Gate of Veldanda mandal in Kalwakurthy constituency, police recovered Rs 4.52 lakh from the possession of a person. The police seized the money from him for not producing proper documents regarding the money transactions.

Upon further enquiry by the police, it is said that the person named Peddy Raju was taking the money for getting a plot registered against his name in Kalwakurthy. However, the police have demanded proper documents from him. “We have seized the money from one person Peddy Raju and would release it if he shows proper documents about the transactions,” said the police.
