Secunderabad: Subhash Chandra, additional secretary, Defence visited Telangana & Andhra Sub Area, Secunderabad, on Saturday. He was briefed on security-related aspects including civil military joint operations as well as initiatives in connection with Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster relief (HADR).
He was also briefed in detail on implications of the orders on opening of military roads. Subhash Chandra and Major General N Srinivas Rao also discussed various land-related issues including the Strategic Road Development Project, encroachment of Defence land and land exchange matters. He was also briefed on the progress of acquisition of land at Amaravati to establish a modern military station.
