Collector RV Karnan examines damaged crops in khammam district
The farmers need not agitate for their damaged crop as the government will support them, said District Collector RV Karnan after examining the destroyed crops in Kamepally mandal on Friday
Khammam: The farmers need not agitate for their damaged crop as the government will support them, said District Collector RV Karnan after examining the destroyed crops in Kamepally mandal on Friday.
Speaking to farmers, he said, “the government is supporting every farmer therefore you need not to stage protest. The Agricultural officer are visiting all mandals and conducting the survey of damaged crops and sending details to the government immediately.” He assured farmers that the government will certainly purchase their wet paddy.
He also stated to farmers not to be depressed over the issue and don’t take any extreme steps. As part of the mandal visit, he also inspected the primary health centres and examined the records.
During the time he asked for information from the concerned department officers.Tahsildar Pushpalatha, Agricultural Department Assistant Director Srinivas Rao and agricultural officers were also present on the occasion.
