Musheerabad: All India BC Welfare Association president R Krishnaiah has condemned the state government for releasing panchayat elections notification, when the BC associations approached the High Court on the issue of quota. Speaking to media at press club in Basheerbagh on Wednesday, Krishnaiah criticised governor for supporting the act.

He said the BC reservation of 34 per cent is reduced to 22 per cent. “BCs role was vital in the victory of the TRS in the recent general elections. It is not good on the part of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for signing the first bill reducing BCs reservation. We will fight for the justice,” he added. The association’s vice president G Krishna, Neelam Venkatesh Mudhiraj, Dasu Suresh, Ananthaiah, Bupesh Sagar, Jaipal Yadav, Gajander, Naresh and others were present.
