Karimnagar: Joint Collector Shyam Prasad Lal on Wednesday ordered the officials concerned to make perfect arrangements for celebrating Republic Day on a grand note at Police Parade Grounds in the city.
He held a meeting with the officials concerned to discuss about the arrangements to be made for celebrating Republic Day, here at the Collectorate conference hall.
Speaking on the occasion, the JC ordered the police personnel to prepare the ground besides maintaining the surroundings clean and tidy along with providing drinking water facility.
He further said to arrange mike set and separate seating arrangements for VIPs, officials, people’s representatives, press persons and for the public.
The JC ordered the Public Relation Officer to prepare a speech stating various developmental works that were taken up and welfare schemes introduced by the government to inform the public along.
‘Make arrangements for distributing welfare units sanctioned under various departments along with tableaux. Conduct cultural activities related to patriotism with students of private and government schools constituting at least 20-25 members in each programme, with sufficient rehearsals.
Assistant Collectors Praveenya, Rajasri Shah, District Revenue Officer Bikshu Nayak, Zilla Parishad CEO Venkata Madhava Rao, District Forest Officer Srinivas Rao, DRDO Venkateshwar Rao, City Municipal Commissioner Satyanarayana, MEPMA Project Director Pavan Kumar, Deputy Director of Information department N Venkateshwar Rao, Engineer Kondaiah, Jayashankar and Chandrashekar were present.
