Villagers perform last rites of electrocuted simian

According to sources, a group of monkeys arrived in the Ankireddygudem a few months ago and have been creating nuisance by wandering in the village. Villagers have been waiting for right time to send the simian army from the village.
Meanwhile, one of the monkeys in the group was accidentally electrocuted in full public glare in the village. Shocked villagers showing their humility, conducted the last rites of the dead monkey as per Hindu tradition and the entire village participated in the final procession of the deceased monkey.
