Khammam: Two interstate burglars were arrested by the Khammam police on Tuesday. Presenting the arrested before the media, Khammam Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal said that the duo had stolen chains from the women found alone in lanes and streets.

We have recovered over 1kg gold, worth Rs 32 lakh, from Mondithoka Veerayya and Mondithoka Aesobhu of Nagulavanchu village in Khammam district, the CP added, informing that 44 cases have already been reported. He also added that the duo has committed chain-snatchings in Telangana and neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.
