Gachibowli: The Department of Mass Communication & Journalism of Maulana Azad National Urdu University is organizing a three days workshop from March 5 to 7 which is on the usages of social media tools.
Inaugural session will be held at the library auditorium at 9.30 am on March 5. The chief guests for the occasion are senior journalist Satish Jacob, former Deputy Bureau Chief, BBC, and Dr Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor of MANUU.
A senior journalist of Urdu, Syed Vickaruddin, Editor-in-Chief of Rehnuma-e-Deccan, will be felicitated for his great contribution in the field of journalism at the event.
Prof Ehtesham Ahmad Khan, Department of MCJ, said that the goal of this workshop is to provide insights related challenges in the field of journalism.
Shams Tahir Khan, a senior journalist of Aaj Tak, Sadhika Tiwari, Millenial Media Professional, Surabhi Malik, Media Training Specialist, Google News Lab, New Delhi, Aamir Haque, Resident Editor, Times Now, Lucknow, and Syed Khaled Shahbaaz, CEO, Media Plus, Hyderabad, Pankaj Pachauri, founder editor-in-chief, GO News, New Delhi, are among the resource persons of the workshop.
