Athithi, a destiny’s child
Interestingly, the actress made her debut in a horror comedy and not in a rom-com.
Athithi Das is latest import to the tinsel town. The Orissa-born is happy with the response she’s getting for her debut film ‘Attharillu’, directed by Anjan K Kalyan.
“I’m thrilled to see people hooting and cheering when the team is visiting the theaters. “I’m experiencing all this for the first time,” says Athithi, who played a woman who is possessed by a ghost.
She adds, “I’ve never thought I would come into films. After I completed MBA, I ventured into modeling for quite some time before bagging my debut project. My parents have been a great support.”
Interestingly, the actress made her debut in a horror comedy and not in a rom-com. “The script is so good that it has provided a good opportunity to excel in my role, which has shades of comedy and emotion,” says Athithi, who is currently shooting for a Tamil film.
