Gunasekhar taking ‘Hiranyakashipudu’ forward?

We all know that ace director Gunasekar is planning to make a big budget mythological film ‘Hiranyakashipudu’ with hotshot Rana who is supposed to play the title role. But a few know that both the actor-director are holding a slew of meetings to fix up things in last few days.

“It is true that Gunasekhar had a couple of meetings with Rana and his father Suresh Babu to make one of the most-awaited films, but lot of things have to be worked, so it will take some more time,” says a source. Director Gunasekhar who is known for blockbusters like ‘Chudalani Undi’ and ‘Okkadu’ bounced back into the reckoning with ‘Rudrama Devi’ after duds like ‘Nippu’.

“Rana in-principle agreed to do the larger-than-life role since he has full confidence in director who earlier tasted big success with his mythological film ‘Bala Ramayanam’, however, budget has to be streamlined and fixed,” the source adds.
