Gujarat rolls out red carpet for Hyd tourists
With the onset of the summer and the holiday season, Gujarat Tourism is spreading out a red carpet for tourists from all over India. To showcase Gujarat as a ‘must-go-place-for-tourism’, Gujarat Tourism held an exclusive travel meet with leading tour operators from Hyderabad on Friday. 15 tour operators and hoteliers from Gujarat encouraged local stakeholders to promote Gujarat centric packages to their customers across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
On offer were various hotel packages from Gujarat and summer destinations like Gir, Saurashtra tour, Saputara, archaeological monuments, etc. Gujarat is home to the Asiatic breed of lions found in the Gir sanctuary. Tourists can now book their safari trip to Gir sanctuary online.
The Saurashtra Darshan trip operated by Gujarat Tourism takes the tourists to the holy shrines of Somnath and Dwarka along with historic destinations like Junagadh, Rajkot and Porbandar - the birth place of Gandhi. Apart from that Saputara in South Gujarat is fast emerging as a getaway summer hill station.
