If you are looking for a getaway to escape the daily hustle-bustle of life, head out for a weekend of sheer indolence at a sprawling new resort set amidst the Aravali hills.

Lemon Tree Hotels, a group of fast growing chain of hotels in India, on Thursday opened their first resort for the public at Tarudhan Valley in Manesar which is the first resort from the group in the Delhi-NCR region.

Located some 30 km from Gurgaon and spread across nearly 72 acres with a nine-hole golf course, club house, rejuvenating spa, fitness centre and activity rooms, the one-of-its-kind property encompasses picturesque greens and serene water bodies.

"Whatever may be the reason for a holiday, who doesn't love to chill out, relax and avail the luxuries under one roof ... and this resort provides that," said Ratan Keswani, deputy managing director of Lemon Tree Hotels.

The place offers multiple cuisines to suit all palates -- Indian, American, pan-Asian and European food coupled with an interesting array of spirits on the bar menu.

"We are even planning to introduce live stations -- chefs' action stations where chefs would be directly serving the food after interacting with the customers and asking for their feedback," head corporate chef Rajeev Janveja told IANS.

The resort also offers numerous games and outdoor activities along with a lap-size swimming pool, surrounded by lazy lounge chairs -- an ideal place for a sun bath.

"Location and close proximity for domestic travellers is one of the biggest assets and this can be the place where you can learn as well as play golf, billiards and even try your hand at archery," Keswani said.

Designed to suit all experiences, this landscaped getaway offers 70 contemporary well-appointed rooms including 18 studio apartments that offer an awe-inspiring view of the golf course.

Other room categories include deluxe room and executive room with an outdoor shower and a private sit-out offering a rustic close-to-nature experience.

The resort hotel also has an exclusive banquet arena that comprises three large conference rooms and manicured gardens to host a variety of events, destination weddings and conferences.

With an introductory price of Rs.7,499 on weekends and Rs.5,499 on weekdays, the resort is a perfect getaway for the stressed out city dwellers.
