Impersonator caught in Visakha Agency peaceVisakhapatnam: The SSC public examinations in Visakhapatnam district were peaceful on the first day on Friday. However, an impersonation case was reported in the Agency area. When contacted, District Education Officer (DEO) K Krishanveni told The Hans India that the exam on the first day was peaceful adding that an alert invigilator caught an impersonator at the test centre of Government High School for Girls, Chintapalli, in the Visakha Agency. She said that the invigilator, in the initial stage of verification of hall-tickets itself, had identified a candidate writing the exam for another candidate. The centre superintendent and the invigilator handed over the culprit to the police present there, who registered a case. Ms Krishnaveni, State observer Tulasiram and the members of all 13 flying squads visited 97 test centres on Friday between 9.30 am and 12 noon, including 10 centres in the Agency. The DEO appealed to the parents to take their wards to the test centres one hour before the scheduled time to avoid last-minute rush and tension.
