Visakhapatnam: The Property Show, being organised by Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA), evoked tremendous response from the public on the second day on Sunday. The Property Show, the first of its kind by VUDA, is the brainchild of vice-chairman N Yuvaraj. The show, organised on the III Floor of VUDA office, gives details on plots and housing units available for allotment in various layouts and housing projects. "This initiative helps the people with a variety of options to choose from what best suits their budget and it also makes VUDA's activities more open and transparent," said Mr Yuvaraj. Information on 220 plots available in 21 layouts for allotment and 79 housing units in the housing schemes of VUDA have been put up for display. House sites are identified in Cyber Valley layout, Ozone Valley layout, Chittivalasa, Bheemunipatnam, Endada, KL Rao Nagar, Kurmannapalem, MVP Colony, Adibhatla Nagar, Kapuluppada and Kummaripalem. Sixty-five housing units are ready for occupation under the Rushikonda Row Housing Project, 11 flats under the Haritha housing and three flats in Kurmannapalem LIG Housing Scheme. Information on previous allotment price, present Sub-Registrar office rate, along with the highest and lowest prices of earlier auction of the plots in these layouts, is also displayed in the show. A separate notification will be announced with allotment conditions, price and other statutory guidelines for allotment of these plots and housing units. The Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank and Union Bank of India have put up counters offering services to the prospective buyers.
