SBI launches Home Loan Mela

Visakhapatnam: State Bank of India (SBI) launched ‘Home Loan Mela’ and ‘Home Loan Takeover Mela’ at the YMCA on Beach Road here on Saturday. The Mela was inaugurated by SBI DGM Manoj Khattar and will be open on Sunday also from 10 am to 8 pm. All SBI branches of Visakhapatnam participated in the Mela.

SBI is offering home loans at the lowest interest rates of 9.95 per cent for loans up to Rs 30 lakh and at 10.10 per cent for loans above Rs 30 lakh for a maximum tenure of 30 years. All the home loans registered in the Mela will be processed and disbursed quickly.

In-principle sanction letters will be issued to customers visiting the Mela on completion of their eligibility norms. People with high cost home loans of other banks availed at higher rate of interest can now avail the opportunity of the lowest interest rates offered by SBI and shift their home loans to SBI by registering at the Mela. In respect of take-over loans, a nominal processing fee of Rs 1,000 will be charged by SBI.

Prominent builders, including Shriram Properties, Lansum Greens, VL Developers and Builders, Summit 696, Brindavan Estates, Sri Surya Paradise and Sri Santhi Residency, put up their stalls. The Mela would be a one-stop shop for all the people who intend to buy a house. There will be a lucky dip contest for the people visiting the Mela and the winner will be given a surprise gift by Chief General Manager CR Sasi Kumar on Sunday.
