Siricilla bags top rank in Swachhata Darpan Mission

Siricilla: The Rajanna Siricilla district bagged the top rank at the national level in Swachhata Darpan rankings across the country under the Swachh Bharat Mission.

The top ranked districts are going to receive the awards at a function that is going to be held in New Delhi on October 2, the launching day of Swacch Bharat Mission.

District officials of various departments congratulated the District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar having met him at his chamber in the Collectorate here in Rajanna Siricilla District on Monday on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector said that it was a happy and proud moment that the Rajanna Siricilla district bagged the top rank at national level in Swachhata Darpan rankings across the country under Swachh Bharat Mission.

The collective efforts of all officials of various departments earned the top rank for the district across the nation and guidelines and encouragement provided by the IT Minister K T Rama Rao paid the way to bag top rankings in Swachhata Darpan Mission, he added.

Taking this as an inspiration with the same spirit and enthusiasm, the officials of various departments must strive hard for making the district ‘Open Defecation Free’ and for getting ODF++ rank to the District, he advised.
