Karimnagar: Two boys of a private school, studying Class IX, have made Karimnagar proud with their standout performance in the national-level robot making challenge and functioning analysis organised by the Novatech Robo Institute in Bangalore.

K Aneesh and Md Aziz of Paramita High School (IIT wing), who participated in the three-day gruelling contest in Bangalore in which 300-odd students of reputed institutes from across the country took part, bagged first prize.

Their sterling performance now has earned them a place in the prestigious International Robotic presentation, which would be jointly organised by Lawrence Technologies, Michigan, and Robotic Interactive Learning Environment RILE of University of West Florida, in May 2018.

It may be noted here that P Meghana and D Nikhita, who designed a mathematics model - Reflected altitude triangle, of the school have been selected for the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), which would be held in Phoenix, Arizona, US from May 8 to 14. E Prasada Rao, chairman of the school, congratulated the teachers who guided the students.
