Hanamkonda: The office-cum-residence of Warangal (West) MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhasker built at a cost of Rs 1 crore is ready for inauguration. The Minister for Information Technology, Municipal Administration and Urban Development K Taraka Rama Rao is going to inaugurate the camp office, during a ceremony on March 5, MLA Vinay Bhasker told the presspersons here on Friday.
It might be noted that the camp office of Parkal MLA Ch Dharma Reddy was the first one completed in the State. It was inaugurated by Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary on March 2, 2017 at Parkal town. The office-cum-residence built on a land of 600 square yards at Balasamudram area in Hanamkonda has got a ground floor in which the office would be located and a first floor dedicated for residential purpose.
The office area consists of a meeting hall, MLA chambers while the residential area consists of double bed rooms, a hall, balcony and other required facilities. The total built up area of the office-cum-residence constructed in nine months’ time was 5,700 square feet.
The construction of office-cum-residences was meant to serve as centre of interaction between the elected representatives and the public in the respective assembly constituencies. The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, wanted the offices built to ensure availability of MLAs to local people all the time, Vinay Bhasker said.
He said the Warangal West constituency was an amalgamation urban and rural class consisting of auto rickshaw drivers to academicians. Development works worth hundreds’ of crores of rupees were being executed in the constituency aiming fulfil the needs of all the sections, he added.
The inauguration ceremony, scheduled at 11.30 am, would be attended by the Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, ministers Etala Rajender and A Chandulal, MPs, MLAs and MLCs corporations’ chairmen in the district, the MLA informed.
He distributed CM Relief Fund cheques worth Rs 10 lakhs to eleven individuals, who have undergone treatment following sickness. The State government was liberal in sanctioning relief fund to beneficiaries to help them come out of the financial difficulties they face after the medical care, he explained.
KUDA chairman M Yadava Reddy, GWMC deputy mayor Khaja Sirajuddin, corporators D Vijay Bhasker, T Vidyasagar, Boda Dinna, V Ravinder, V Ganesh, Madhavi Reddy and others were present.
