Parkal: The TRS government has been surging ahead of all states in the country, bringing in a visible development at all spheres, noted IT and Municipal Administration Minister K Taraka Rama Rao.
Addressing a massive public meeting at Parkal on Monday, the Minister appealed the public to support the government led by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, so that the lives of the poor and downtrodden would be changed remarkably in the days to come.
He listed out numerous development and welfare initiatives introduced and implemented by the State government for all-round development of all the sections in the society. For the first time in the country, the TRS government has come up with the financial assistance programme for farmers.
From next agriculture season onwards, the farmers need not worry over raising funds towards input costs. The government would give Rs 8,000 per acre every year to meet the costs. Similarly, for the first time the farmers in the State were able to get 24-hour free power supply, Rama Rao noted.
Every Assembly constituency in the State was witnessing a significant change in terms of development, he said with reference to the development works he launched at Parkal on Monday. He laid foundation stone for Rs 50 crore worth Mission Bhagiratha works, central lighting system set up at a cost of Rs 1.60 crore and works worth Rs 15 crore under Nagara Panchayat.
The Minister asserted that the government was ready to spend any amount of funds for the development of Parkal constituency. The Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in the constituency would ensure employment to unemployed youth. On the day, Minister KTR reviewed the progress of Textile Park works and called on the party leader M Bikshapathi, who was ailing for the past sometime.
Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari wanted the public to draw a comparison between the development that took place in the last four years and during the rule of previous governments led by Congress and TDP.
Earlier on the day, Rama Rao inaugurated the newly constructed residence-cum-camp office of Warangal West MLA D Vinay Bhasker at Balasamudram in Hanamkonda.
ZP Chairperson G Padma, MP P Dayakar, MLAs Ch Dharma Reddy, Aruri Ramesh, B Shankar Naik, DS Redya Naik, chairmen of different corporations P Sudarshan Reddy, L Kishan Rao, K Vasudeva Reddy and others were present.
