Warangal: Bharatiya Janata Party district unit has demanded serious action against the goondas who have attacked the constable Srinivas for raising `Jai Telangana’ slogan at the recent APNGOs meeting in Hyderabad. The party district president A Ashok Reddy, senior leader S Murali Manohar, publicity secretary K Trilokeshwar speaking to press persons here on Tuesday have strongly condemned the attack on Telangana activists by Seemandhra activists.
They wanted the police to nab the culprits who have attacked the constable and a Circle Inspector Vishnu Murthy who tried to protect the constable from the attackers. They demanded the state government not to give permission to Seemandhra outfits to hold meetings in Hyderabad in future. The Centre should table the bill immediately in Parliament so as to prevent unwanted tensions between the regions.
