Hyderabad: POWERGRID, SRTS-I in association with ST Joseph’s Degree & PG College conducted ‘Inter College Debate Competition’ on Friday, as part of the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week-2017’ at the college premises.

About 18 students representing six colleges participated in the competitions; the debate was on the topic of Can India be freed from corruption? The teams projected their well-reasoned arguments in a persuasive way. The judges and the audience appreciated the information and dynamic nature of their conduct.

Loyala Academy, Secunderabad won the first prize, St Jospeh’s college and University College of Arts and Social Sciences, Osmania University bagged the second and the third positions respectively.

V Sekhar, ED (SRTS-I), S Ravi, GM (AM), Vigilance officers from POWERGRID, principal and the senior staff members of the ST Joseph’s Degree & PG College were present at the event.
