Indian Army’s Green Team triumphed over Indian Nary to clinch the Inter-Services Volleyball Championship 2019-20 here on Friday.
Hyderabad: Indian Army's Green Team triumphed over Indian Nary to clinch the Inter-Services Volleyball Championship 2019-20 here on Friday. The Green team emerged victorious with a set score of 3-0 (25-21, 26-24, 25-20).
The four-day championship which began on July 23 was held at Eagle Indoor Volleyball Stadium, EME Centre, Secunderabad, a press release said.
Two teams of the Indian Army (Red & Green), one team of the Indian Navy and one team of the Indian Air Force participated in the event.
This prestigious event provided an opportunity to outstanding sportsmen for getting selected to the Services Volleyball team.
Colonel Debadas Nanda, Officiating Commandant, 1 EME Centre graced the occasion as the chief guest gave away prizes to the winner and runner-up teams.
