In a new beta version of the instant messaging application, the latest feature allows you to share a new status update of WhatsApp, in Facebook stories as well. As part of the latest WhatsApp Beta program, WhatsApp is testing this feature. If you are using the beta version of WhatsApp, you will find an option below to share your Status Update.

If you are not clear with all this, the state is basically the story version of WhatsApp. And this new facility to share means you can share a story about WhatsApp – Status – of your Facebook account.

But does it mean that now you have to link your Facebook account you're your WhatsApp account? The instant messaging application owned by Facebook insists that they will use the standard data exchange APIs of Android and iOS. This means that you can also share the status of WhatsApp with other applications of your choice, including Instagram, Gmail, Google Photos and more.

Now explicitly about Instagram, which is also owned by Facebook, when you share data with another Facebook-owned service such as Instagram, the company says that two separate publications will be created on their systems and your WhatsApp will not at all linked in any way to your Facebook or Instagram account or another way around. Make of it what you want.

WhatsApp shared that its Stories now have more than 500 million daily active users. Incidentally next year, Facebook WhatsApp will deploy the monetization mission of the WhatsApp Stories and you will begin to see ads here.

Currently, in this beta version of WhatsApp, you have to manually share a WhatsApp status as a Facebook story or an Instagram story. There is no automatic option. And that would be the least of the problems, we are sure.
