BSNL broadband to offer unique freebies and bundled subscriptions
BSNL is India's largest broadband service provider and to attract more customers, and it is offering some unique freebies and bundled subscriptions.
The state-led telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, is the largest broadband service provider of the country. But, there are only a few days left for the public launch of Reliance Jio GigaFiber. There is a chance that a lot of BSNL subscribers may migrate to the new service provider. With this being said, BSNL is offering unique freebies with its plans to hold on its existing customers and attract new customers.
So, know about the freebies and offers that make BSNL broadband plans unique.
Amazon Prime and Cashback Offer
BSNL stayed away from content-based offering on its broadband plans for a long time. Other service providers like Bharti Airtel were providing an Amazon Prime Video connection via Amazon Prime membership, BSNL was not offering it.
But now BSNL has started offering Amazon Prime membership to its customers. According to the latest details by BSNL, the subscribers who are on a broadband plan of Rs 900 or more can enjoy Amazon Prime membership for one whole year. They are also eligible for a 25% cashback.
BSNL broadband plans below Rs 499 will offer 15% cashback, and the plans between Rs 499 and Rs 900 will ship with 20% cashback.
Free Hotstar Premium Subscription
If not Amazon Prime subscription, BSNL plans to ship with a Hotstar subscription. Just like Amazon Prime Video, the subscribers can watch various movies and TV shows with a Hotstar subscription. BSNL detailed that it will offer a complimentary Hotstar subscription with its Superstar 300 plan that is available at Rs 749. As the name suggests, this plan will offer 300GB data per month.
Daily Data Broadband Plans
This is something that sets BSNL broadband plans to stand out from other broadband plans. BSNL is one of the rare service providers which offers daily data limit on its broadband plans. You will easily find plans in BSNL broadband portfolio which come with 40GB per day, 55GB per day, 80GB per day and more daily data limit.
Long Term Discount
BSNL also comes with a long term discount, on its broadband plan offers. Let's assume if you want to subscribe for the 600GB CUL plan, for which you need to pay a monthly rent of Rs 849. But if you opt for a subscription of 12 months, you don't need to pay 12x of the price, in its place you only have to pay 10x of the cost, i.e. Rs 8490 only.
This way, on a long term annual subscription, the subscribers will be able to get two months of free service. Likewise, on paying for 19 months of service, you will get five months of free service.
