Three third-party vendors of Amazon were detained by the police on Wednesday on the charges of cheating the company by stealing mobile phones and laptops.
Three third-party vendors of Amazon were detained by the police on Wednesday on the charges of cheating the company by stealing mobile phones and laptops. The police seized mobile phones and other expensive products from their possession.
The police said that the three accused identified as Hanmagalla Sai Kumar, Sagili Kalyan and Cheemala Raju colluded with each other and stole the products. They used to place the orders of items of lower prices to their residence and replace them with the expensive mobile phones and laptops, said the police.
Around 11 items including two HP Pavilion laptops, six apple iPhone 11 and three one plus 7 pro mobiles were stolen since January 18. The incident came to light when the company conducted an internal audit and a complaint was lodged against the three by the company's legal advisor.
