Launching the double bedroom houses here at KCR Nagar in Siddipet on Thursday, minister Harish Rao said that action will be taken against those who found selling or renting the houses given to them by the government.
Launching the double bedroom houses here at KCR Nagar in Siddipet on Thursday, minister Harish Rao said that action will be taken against those who found selling or renting the houses given to them by the government. He also warned the people of taking the houses back.
"The government constructed the double bedroom houses for the poor will all basic amenities and is the only state in the country which had provided the houses to the poor," Rao said. Around 180 houses were handed over to the people.
On Wednesday, minister KT Rama Rao handed over 324 double bedroom houses to the poor near Rythu Bazar at Jai Bhavani Nagar of Vanasthalipuram.
The government has spent Rs 9 lakh on each house which comprises of a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, said KTR adding that the market value of the same house will be around Rs 40-50 lakh. The double bedroom housing communities were equipped with service lifts, fire safety measures, parks and other facilities.
About 10,000 double bedroom houses were ready for inauguration soon in the state.
