Sarpanch inaugurates the new classrooms

Kodad (Suryapet): Gudibanda village Sarpanch Lankela Alivelu Manga of Kodad mandal in the district has stated that education was a powerful tool to change the society and added that gratitude and aid by old students would help to develop facilities in government schools in rural areas.

On Wednesday, she inaugurated additional classrooms constructed at the Zilla Parishad High School in the village with the financial aid of Rs 75,000 given by the 1989–90 batch of Class 10 students of the school.

Speaking on the occasion, the Sarpanch stated that several government schools in rural areas were lacking basic facilities and urged the former students and philanthropists to provide necessary donations for providing the necessary infrastructure at the schools.

Headmaster of the school, Saritha, appreciated the kind gesture of the alumni students.
