Hyderabad: BJP chief Amit Shah public meetings scheduled on Thursday in Karimnagar and Warangal have been cancelled. However, the saffron party chief will be visiting the State on April 8 and participate in a road show in Hyderabad, besides addressing a public meeting.

According to the party sources the Shah has to arrive from Ahmedabad by a special flight to Hyderabad and proceed to Karimnagar in a helicopter to address a public meeting.

However, following an emergency meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party chief had reportedly flown Delhi. As per the schedule Amit Shah also had to participate in a public meeting at Warangal in the afternoon and then to attend participate several public meetings in Andhra Pradesh, the party sources said.

However, the party chief will be participating in a roadshow in Hyderabad on April 8.

That apart, Union Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj is scheduled to address an Intellectuals and Professionals Meet on at 6.45pm on April 5 at Shubham Convention Center, Nagole in the city.
