Hyderabad to host world's best photographers at PEP Photo Summit 2019
May 2019 will mark the return of the 4th edition of PEP Photo Summit 2019 to celebrate ABC i.e., the Art, Business and Craft of photography.
The summit has been officially launched as a 3-day photo conference that will take place in the City of Pearls - Hyderabad this year on May 3.
It is a platform to bring together the industry experts from all corners of the world and create an experience that is solely unique to the mass of India.
Started in 2016 by Joseph Radhik, Joshua Karthik and Arjun Rajan, PEP became Asia's first wedding photography convention.
Joseph Radhik and Joshua Karthik, are also the co-founders of awarding winning brand Stories by Joseph.
They are the photographers behind well-celebrated weddings of Virat - Anushka, Priyanka - Nick, Isha Ambani - Anand Piramal amongst many others.
Joseph is an international award winning wedding photographer with his most notable achievements being: the first and only Indian to be chosen as a Global Ambassador for Sony, starting in a global ad campaign for Profoto, and being listed in GQ's 50 Most Influential Young Indians for 2018.
Their idea behind PEP Photo Summit was to go beyond the usual "conference" or "festival or "seminar".
At the heart of PEP is something Joseph, Joshua and Arjun take very seriously - curation.
In 2017, PEP brought 250 experienced professionals which Brian Smith was the keynote speaker, with Jerry Ghionis, Jesh De Rox, Mauricio Arias and others sharing the stage.
By 2018 PEP launched a new stage for the "enthusiast photographer". Christened PEPx, this stage was for the photography lover.
This year saw Ira Block as their keynote speaker with Brendan Declerq, Roberto Valenzuela, Two Mann Studios.
A total of 1800 photographers attended the convention across both stages.
For 2019, the Pep Photo Summit is coming back with one stage, a mix of photographers from all genres and even other creative disciplines such as acting, fine art, and music.
The PEP Photo Summit 3-day schedule is designed to extract unique viewpoints on different challenges from each speaker.
