Karimnagar: Two bear cubs, aged 4 months, fell into an agricultural well in Gattubuthkur village of Gangadhara mandal of Karimnagar district in the early hours of Thursday.

After getting the news, Karimnagar district forest range officer rushed to the spot along with the staff. There is not much water in the well, which is about 70 feet deep. The staff with the help of three ladders, net and other items carefully went down into the well and took out the cubs successfully.

After keeping the cubs in the shade for some time and feeding them fruits, the staff released them into the nearby forest.

The staff were cautious as the mother of the cubs was found roaming in nearby areas in the morning.
