Nizamabad: MP Arvind said the BJP activists are ahead in doing social service while participating in a mega blood donation camp organised by the party at Baswa Gardens in Nizamabad on Sunday as part of 'seva saptah'. To mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17, BJP started 'seva saptah', or the service week from September 14 to September 20.

Participating in weightlifting championship at Indore High School here, the MP informed that public representatives of several parties will join the BJP on September 17, the Narendra Modi's birthday. Only BJP will take the country towards development and RSS is full of young people, who are sacrificing their life for the country, he added. Those public representatives, who won the hearts of the people with the Telangana movement, are joining our party, he said.

Arvind also attended a free medical camp at Bheemgal mandal on Sunday and said that he was confident that the BJP will form government in Telangana soon. The district party leaders and activists will organise blood donation and health camps and will distribute fruits to the patients in hospitals and orphanages during the week-long programme, which was launched by MP D Arvind here on Saturday.

Party MPPs, ZPTCs, sarpanches, MPTCs, ex-corporators, councillors and other representatives will join the events. On this occasion, three pledges will be administrated by the people about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, save water and shunning single useful plastic items. Exhibitions on Prime Minister Modi's life journey and service works will also be organised.
