On the occasion of 6th Telangana State Level Juniors Judo championship, Kailasam Yadav came to Karimnagar and analysised the talent of Indian Judokas. Government of India has introduced many schemes to identify the talented Judokas to represent the country in various international competitions to win medals and bring laurels to the country.
On behalf of Sports Authority of India (SAI), Indian Judo Federation is organising a number of coaching camps from the district level to the national level in all age categories with Indian and foreign coaches. "We are expecting overall championship in the forthcoming SAAP Judo competitions which will be held in Nepal in December.
SAI has first time introduced 'All India Universities Khelo India' games to be organised at KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar in February, 2020 to identify the excellent performance from the youth," he said.
The representation of Indian Judo Federation is going to establish SAI Judo Academies in six centres in India. Out of these academies, one academy is proposed to be established in Karimnagar on the basis of performance of Karimnagar Judokas, and Judo infrastructure facilities in Karimnagar city.

He further added that that the Judo Federation is planning to conduct a special conditioning coaching camp in Karimnagar with the help of Japan Judo Coach Taka Hito Nokumar in Janaury, 2020.
