Hyderabad: Congress senior leader M Shashidhar Reddy, M Kodanda Reddy, S Chandrasekhar, Syam Mohan and G Niranjan on Sunday hailed the decision of the Congress Working Committee to appoint Sonia Gandhi as AICC interim president.
Addressing the media, they said that winning and losing was part of the game and one should learn lessons from the defeats.
They said that they were confident that Sonia Gandhi would pull out all the stops to rejuvenate the party.
AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao, in a statement, welcomed Sonia Gandhi taking over the reins of the party.
